Lighting Controls Commissioning Engineer/Project Manager | Thirsk, North Yorkshire | Full Time | c. £Our client is a leading lighting design and Lutron lighting controls dealer. They are seeking to recruit and develop an experienced lighting controls commissioning engineer. Based in North Yorkshire, they work on highly prestigious projects across the UK and occasionally abroad.

This role would suit an ambitious lighting controls engineer, electrician or custom installer with experience in commissioning complex systems in residential or high-end commercial environments, who wants to broaden their role and progress.

As both a leading lighting design firm and a Diamond level Lutron dealer our client has a unique 'end to end' approach, and a very close working relationship with their clients.

5 hours of the office.) Projects are northern biased but the team work nationally and being onsite when required are important.

At least 5 years' experience working in high end residential construction.
At least 3 years' experience in lighting controls
Networking (IT) experience is an advantage but not essential
Willing and able to travel to project sites. the role is not entirely office-based but it's not 'working away' either
Driving licence
Fluent in English
Permanent leave to live and work in the UK
Designing, programming and commissioning lighting control systems, primarily Lutron HomeWorks
Installing and commissioning Lutron electric blinds and curtain tracks
Helping to solve onsite lighting issues which can be very 'hands-on"
Inputting into the company's design process with installation expertise

Helping to proactively manage projects 'on the ground' through liaison with and providing expertise to the client and wider project team, e.g.

; Helping maintain the office premises and lighting displays
