SRG are working with a leading waste management and recycling company who have a long and successful history of supporting the UK chemical industry.

The successful candidate will proactively co-ordinate and supervise receipt, storage, processing and disposal of incoming wastes through a hazardous waste transfer facility.

This is an ideal opportunity for a fresh Chemistry graduate looking for their first career in industry.

5 working hours per week Monday – Friday, company pension scheme, enhanced sick pay, cycle to work, PPE provided, and company discounts at retailers.

Offers fantastic opportunity for training and progression into management.
Monitor and control all processes within the facility in terms of people and equipment to ensure operational productivities.

Ensure security of waste entering the facility and disposal in line with any stated customer requirement, at minimized cost.

PPC, discharge consent, pre-acceptance, acceptance and onward transfer caveats, whilst driving best practice and continuous improvement in cost control and processing operations.

Carry out regular stock control and inventory of materials, both waste and consumables held on site.

Maintain a high level of housekeeping in all areas and ensure any housekeeping activities are carried out in an effective and timely manner.

Implement and ensure compliance with all company policy, process and procedures.
Min HNC Chemistry qualification- proficient in laboratory analytical techniques and interpretation
Analytical with the ability to measure & monitor data and take appropriate action.
