Network Engineer - 12 month contract - outside IR3- Jan Start - Hertfordshire

Arcas Technology is currently partnered with a UK based IT Consultancy, they are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to work for one of their key clients on a 12 month contract.

Experience & Responsibilities:

Provide handson engineering support of the existing network infrastructure and technologies.
Experience in virtualized data centres.
Cisco certifications (CCIE, CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, CCDP).
Experience with one of the following vendors (Cisco, Fortinet, Huawei, Juniper).
Participate in oncall rotation for escalation support of technical issues, supporting the 24x7 production network environment.
Troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
Undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments using information from multiple sources.
Liaise with project management teams, thirdline engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis.
Provide necessary support to Field operations for installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of cellular and SIP equipment.
Handling Network Operations Centre (NOC) trouble ticket escalation and follow up.
