Business Development Manager

Salary:
£50,000 - £60,000 D.O.E

Location:
West Yorkshire

Working Hours:
Full-time, Monday - Friday

Grafton Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established and successful independent packaging manufacturer for a Business Development Manager to join their team, to further grow their client base for their manufacturing site in Yorkshire.

The company works with many iconic brands and it will be the duties of the Business Development Manager to identify new opportunities for business whilst maintaining existing key customers.

The Role:

Work with the senior management of the business with the specific responsibility of generating additional work for the site
Manage an existing portfolio of accounts, combined with an extensive database of researched and qualified leads
Demonstrate a desire to generate new business from a target market
Provide a high quality service to customers in various markets including food and beverages, healthcare, automotive and engineering industries
Deal with both internal and external contracts efficiently

The Person:

Proven experience in a sales environment
Ability to manage own workload
Excellent communicator at all levels
Able to develop new business opportunities
Enthusiastic attitude and professional approach
Experience working in the packaging industry essential
