    The role

    To provide project management for the Early Careers 2024 model enabling the successful launch of all four parts of the model:

    1) Talent Connect

    2) Clearing House

    3) Rotational Scheme

    4) L&D support

    Continuing to develop a detailed implementation plan to deliver a successful launch in September 2023 of the Early Careers Model for the September 2024 early careers cohort.

    Principal Accountabilities

  • Planning and delivering of all the required deliverables within a project, and within the scope and agreed budget and timescales, to include full scale project plan creation and change communication strategy
  • Ownership over the objective setting, planning, scoping and set up of the projects i.e., project governance structure, budget and resources and the ongoing management of this
  • Managing risks and issues, including the development of contingency plans, and escalating where appropriate
  • Provision of project management guidance and challenge to senior stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Effectively communicate and manage project expectations to project sponsors, team members, and other external/internal key stakeholders through various mediums
  • Coordinating and attending all relevant strategic/committee/working group and tracking actions etc.
  • Provision of regular reporting highlighting any relevant dependencies and risks to project sponsor/other relevant stakeholders
  • Skills

  • Project Management skills – including project planning, milestone measurement, identifying dependencies and risk mitigation
  • Co-ordination and planning skills – managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders
  • Relationship/stakeholder management with the ability to deliver concise, influential and targeted content through many communication mediums
  • Influencing and negotiating – to encourage firms across the Market to engage with the new model
  • Knowledge

  • Knowledge of various project management methodologies e.g., PRINCE, Agile etc.
  • Understanding of HR / Talent Acquisition / Early Careers
  • Knowledge of various HR systems / integrations - donor firms may not use Workday – Early Careers Team will need to manage candidate details from across multiple HR platforms
