An industry leading manufacturer of complex precision components to the aerospace & defence sectors has a new vacancy for a Quality Inspector to join the team.

Working permanent evenings (Monday to Thursday, candidates are sought experience inspecting high precision components and must have CMM experience and worked in a highly regulate industry.

Leicester Salary:
£35,788 + Overtime + PensionSuitable for: Quality Inspector, Quality Engineer, Inspector.
The RolePerform Inspection of parts where required in line with company and customer requirements.
Ability to use inspection equipment including callipers, micrometres, and CMM's.
Work with Quality Engineer to support product issues.
Oversee the ERP System and data collection software.
Work effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operational teams to eliminate any barriers that may affect the quality.
Be able to read and understand complex engineering drawings.
Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing GD&T.The CandidateExperience of working within a precision manufacturing environment is essential.
Conversant with Quality procedures and with inspection techniques.
Ability to use measuring tools accurately including Micrometres and Callipers.
Experience using CMM Machine's.
Have the ability to read, use, understand and interpret all aspects of engineering drawings.
