Description


As Financial Crime Analyst, you will be part of an established financial crime team providing a high quality services to customers.

You will play a key role in the team's continuous improvement initiatives and always look for ways of improving and developingprocesses and controls.

As well as delivering on the quality assurance framework, you will also be responsible for:


  • Reviewing, investigating and reporting on financial crime, and develop a strong understanding in this area
  • Carrying out checks on all sanctions and screening processes
  • Identifying issues and carrying out the correct actions to resolve
  • Preparing MI report in reference to quality assurance
  • Supporting ongoing projects and supporting the team with escalations, issues, trends etc
  • Supporting the ongoing development of financial crime processes
  • Working on the risk management framework

Profile
For the Financial Crime Analyst role, you must have:

  • Experience working in a similar financial crime role with a good understanding of KYC, AML, sanctions etc
  • Experience of carrying out financial crime reviews
  • Worked in a regulatory environment and possess a good understanding of FCA regulations
  • Relevant qualification is preferred for this role (ICA, ACAMs etc)
  • Strong communication skills with ability to make decisions effectively through sound judgement
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment
