    Sixth Form SEN Teacher - SEN School - April 2024 Start

    Our Special School for pupils aged 4-16, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Sixth Form SEN Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high-quality education to pupils with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), and severe learning difficulties (SLD).

    ·Develop and implement individualized goals and objectives for pupils based on their individual strengths and needs

    ·Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to provide a supportive learning environment

    ·Full Time, temp contract with an opportunity of perm contract

    The Person - Sixth Form SEN Teacher

    *Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS

    *Experience working with pupils with special educational needs, or a proven interest in teaching pupils with a wide range of learning difficulties

    *Ability to differentiate curriculum delivery for pupils

    *Demonstrable skill in implementing individualized goals and objectives to address the core features of SEN

    *Ability to work as a member of a team as well as lead

    *Excellent personal organization, communication, and ICT skills

    *Proven record of good to outstanding practice
