Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Operations Manager to join a family run business who specialise within the waste management, collection and disposal sector.
The Candidate;CPC Management – DesirableRecycling or waste management logistics experience (desirable)Excellent knowledge of driver time regulationsPrevious experience within a operational and transport supervisory roleA good understanding of fleet compliance across Rigids and ArticsExperience using Transport Management SystemStrong customer service skillsAbility to work under pressure and to deadlinesCompetent decision makingDuties and ResponsibilitiesLeading and managing a Transport Planning teamSupervising and managing driver workloadsEnsure drivers have the correct paperwork and equipment to carry out their roleLiaise with drivers, supervising and managing driver workloadsCoordination of breakdown, recoveryEnsure all aspects of H&S are adhered toAll defects are dealt with correctlyInvestigate any vehicle damage and take any action requiredEnsure all vehicles are in a clean and tidy condition through regular auditsIf you have Transport Operations Management experience and would like to be considered for this opportunity, please apply via the link.
