**Technical Writer - £35,000-£40,000 + Benefits

Are you ready for an exciting new challenge? Do you have proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation? If so, we want to hear from you.


We are looking for a Technical Writer who will be responsible for writing, editing, reviewing and updating technical documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products.

You will collaborate with developers to create software documentation that reflects the software or system for the end users. This includes both user-facing documentation, such as technical manuals and tutorials, and internal developer documentation.

**Key Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of a Technical Writer include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
  • Produce highquality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
  • Write easytounderstand user interface text, online help and developer guides.
  • Analyse existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and singlesourcing opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance of technical documents with regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Convert complex documentation to easy language for multiple audiences.

**The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Technical Writer are:

  • 4-5 years of proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation.
  • Ability to deliver highquality documentation paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
  • Excellent English technical writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience in clinical Application preferred.
  • Knowledge of Latex system, preferred.
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred.
