    • We are looking for a highly motivated Lab ComputingAnalyst to provide critical support as part of a dynamic Client labIT service team.
    Responsibilities:
    • Implement monitor and provide technicalsupport of customer laboratory IT environments typically integratedwith instrumentation
    • Implement customer specified benchtop computing designand processes
    • Administer and assures connectivity of customers Windowsbased platform
    • Support of the operating system desktop hardware andperipherals instrumentcontrolled software core desktop applicationsand imagining of computers
    • Manage Onboarding retirement and relocation of equipment
    • Implement Windowsbased security including but not limited to: user / grouppermissions file / folder permissions group policies local securitypolicies etc.
    • Analyze identify and implement enhancements upgradesand/or solutions to improve the overall support of the desktopplatform in a timely manner
    • Ensure adherence to clients corporate policies throughperiodic reporting and compliance programs
    • Act as the technical support contact forinstrument vendor
    • Repair and troubleshoot instrument related computers andescalating issues to the client infrastructure teams
    • Provide technical support for newsystem validations and change management efforts
    • Create and maintain a physicalinventory of lab equipment PCs software and any other informationspecified by the client
    • Submit weekly Engineer reports to the team lead by COBon the last business day of the week
    • Act as client Liaison for software/hardwarerelated inquiries
    • Participate in client team meetings
    • Provide support across all ClientEnterprise practices as required
    • Demonstrate appropriate use of officeequipment/software after training
    • Maintain training and compliance in areas ofhealth and safety security environmental and operational aspects ofdaily activities in the working environment
    Critical Skills:
    • Excellentcustomer service skills complimented by an ability to listen to andinterpret client requests.
    • Ability to troubleshoot complex technology issues.
    • Strong verbal andwritten communication skills.
    • Ability to identify track and complete tasks formultiple projects under prescribed timeframes.
    Basic Qualifications:
    • BachelorsDegree with two plus years of technical experience OR
    • Associates Degree with three plusyears of technical experience OR
    • High School Diploma or equivalent with fiveplus years of technical experience
    PreferredQualifications:
    • Experience with technologiesincluding Microsoft Office networking remote computing and backupsystems.
    • Experiencewith scientific instrumentation
    • Experience in Life Science environment
    • Experience in a validatedenvironment
    • Experience working in GxP ISO and FDA compliantfacilities
    Working Environment:
    • Must be able to work in a laboratorycontrolled environments requiring personal protective equipment(e.g. lab coat safety glasses etc.) in laboratory.
    • Job pace may be fast and jobcompletion demands may be high.
    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position morethan 25% of the time
    • The person needs to occasionally move between labscorridors adjoining rooms and buildings onsite. Frequently operateon instruments objects tools or controls which will requireregularly bending squatting stretching and reaching in order toperform in a service function.
    • Occasionally move or lift up to 25 pounds (potential foroccasional lifting of up to 50 pounds).
    • Specific vision abilities required by thisposition include without limitation the ability to observe detailsat close range distance vision color vision peripheral vision depthperception and ability to adjust focus in order to perform theessential service functions of this position.
    • Occasionally operates a computerand other office machinery such as a calculator copy machine andcomputer printer.
    • Employee may be required to handle hazardous wasteaccording to local state and federal regulations. Duties mayinclude identifying handling generating accumulating storing andlabeling hazardous waste.
    • Potential risk to labbased hazards including but notlimited to extreme temperature biological materials hazardouschemicals.
    • May berequired to complete Medical Clearance Respiratory ProtectionTraining and Fit Testing to wear a respirator as protection againstanimal allergens where animals are present in the laboratoryenvironment.
