    Job Description

    CRA is searching for experienced safety case engineers to join the team. If you are a safety professional seeking a new challenge, we would love to hear from you. We have opportunities in our offices in Glasgow, Warrington, and London, with the option for remote work for those located elsewhere.

    We are seeking self-motivated safety professionals to enhance our existing safety case capability. Candidates with expertise in the following areas are preferred, but we welcome applicants from all backgrounds:

    • Waste and Decommissioning
    • Licensing and Regulation
    • Pressurised Water Reactors
    • Internal and External Hazards assessment

    The role of a senior safety case engineer will involve leading projects across the UK nuclear industry, including new builds, operational support, decommissioning, and waste management. You will also contribute to business development by fostering client relationships and participating in project bids.

    Qualifications

    As a senior safety case engineer, you should have:

    • A Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics (or equivalent work experience)
    • Extensive experience in safety assessments for nuclear facilities
    • Familiarity with UK regulatory requirements and international standards related to Nuclear Safety Assessment
