Description

REED Finance are working with an international manufacturing company, who specialise in the Aerospace industry based in Sheffield.

The business is circa £80m turnover and is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join team.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for partnering with heads of departments and production staff to improve business performance.

Remuneration:

Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience

Duties of the role include:

Identify, challenge and proactively satisfy internal customer requirements to provide information, interpretation and insight to the functional reams to promote effective deliver of commercial & operational performance
Identify operational process inefficiencies and make necessary improvements to enhance cost efficiency and business improvement
Support the strategic and financial planning, budgeting and forecasting process demonstrating an understanding of key driver to inform strategic decision making
Promote cost awareness through informative reporting, financial analysis and insight to drive action and improve future performance
Contributing to ad hoc financial projects as required and as part of the overall finance function
Preparation of monthly reports and ensuring queries are resolved in a timely and effective manner
Management of transactional & control of Inventory Balance Sheet accounts
Optimise financial performance with a focus on relevant key performance indicators within business specialisation
Provide adequate cover to the Financial Controller as necessary
