    We are seeking a strong, experienced and enthusiastic Year 6 teacher to join our friendly and hardworking team.

    This is an excellent opportunity to work in a school that is committed to achievement for all its pupils and ongoing professional development for staff, and to make a real impact on pupils and their progress.

    We are looking for candidates who:

  • Who have, ideally, successfully taught Year 6 previously and understand the needs of this year group (or with a proven track record and an ambition to be a strong Year 6 teacher)
  • A proven track record of success in pupil progress
  • Have a happy, can-do attitude and can lead and motivate children and staff with confidence and passion
  • Are committed to children enjoying and engaging in their learning
  • Have the desire and ability to drive standards, with understanding and experience of strategies for effective classroom management.
  • Are a team player with excellent communication skills and will demonstrate excellent working relationships with colleagues across school.
  • Are committed to creating and maintaining effective partnerships with parents/carers, outside agencies and the community. We can offer:
