About the school:


A well-established co-educational academy within easy reach of M4 are looking for a teacher of Spanish and French to join their team starting April 2023.

The school strives to "enable every student to fulfil their ambition and find a pathway that motivates and challenges them"

The school are looking for individuals who:

  • Plan and deliver lessons to pupils
  • Work closely with specialist lead.
  • Good organisation and planning skills
  • Ability to teach Spanish up to GCSE
  • Ability to teach French
  • The teaching should enable pupils to express their ideas and thoughts in another language and to understand and respond to its speakers, both in speech and in writing
  • The teaching should also support pupils with the ability to speak with increasing confidence, fluency and spontaneity, finding ways of communicating what they want to say, including through discussion and asking questions, and continually improving theaccuracy of their pronunciation and intonation.
  • ECT/QTS/PGCE qualification
    (essential):
  • Hold a DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • The right to work within the UK
