We are thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity for a HR & Finance Assistant to join the team of one of our local client organisations.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the wider team who drive sales of cutting-edge enclosing solutions across various focus markets and segments within the UK & Ireland.

As the HR & Finance Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the administrative functions within the organisation.

Collaboration with all UK based employees to ensure that the invoicing, finance & employee record processes are managed well. Effective communication, relevant knowledge & experience and exceptional organisational skills will be critical in this role.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Purchase Ledger: monthly reconciliation of invoices with purchase orders.
  • Sales Ledger: invoicing and robust credit control processes, maximising working capital.
  • Bank & Ledger reconciliations: Nominals, Bank (GBP and EUR), Credit Card, Petty Cash and Ledgers.
  • Order authorised overhead supplies, comparing costs to achieve maximum value for money.
  • Support with preparation of VAT returns in advance of deadline for review, sign off and submission.
  • Review and manage authorised expenses.
  • Maintenance of fixed asset register to include additions, disposals and depreciation.
  • Assist with the administrative preparation of monthly Management Accounts.
  • Support Payroll preparation.
  • Provide adhoc administration and support to the central Finance & HR functions.
  • Production of all HR documentation.
  • Assisting the central Finance & HR Manager with the annual salary reviews, benefits administration, onboarding, scheduling reviews, monitoring annual leave and wellbeing initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Proven track record of success in a senior administrative position within HR / Finance functions
  • Strong organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to support the wider workforce & management force.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for building productive relationships with both internal stakeholders and employees.
