This a fantastic opportunity for Procurement Project Manager to support the delivery of the growth deal strategy and decarbonisation.

The Falkirk Growth Deal is part of a grant-funded project on decarbonising their offering in Engineering and Construction curriculums and the development of their significant new net zero commercial offerings.

Reporting to Head of Procurement, the Procurement Project Manager and will take ownership of activity related to the projects attached to the Falkirk growth deal.

They will have excellent stakeholder management skills to ensure the delivery of the institution's growth deal strategy and operational procurement services.

This role is an opportunity to provide a key contribution to the strategic development and decarbonisation activity.

Experience and knowledge required for the role:

You will have proven experience working in Public Sector ProcurementHave significant knowledge of Scottish/UK procurement legislationBe experienced in tendering within a regulated environment Public Contracts (Scotland) and PRA(Scotland) Act.

Have relevant tendering/carbon reduction experienceHave a considerable understanding of the key ethical/social & environmental impacts of procurementExperience with project management processes and meeting demanding targets and deadlinesUnderstand the importance of delivering a First-Class procurement service to StakeholdersEnjoy building working first-class relationships with Stakeholders/CustomersOur client offers a suite of benefits including a 9-Day fortnight, hybrid working and flexible working (core hours).

The initial period of the project will be 24 to 26 months
