This established Accountancy & Advisory Practice has a strong position within its core sector markets and advises an impressive range of small and large clients across the UK and in overseas territories.
The practice has achieved consistent year on yeargrowth and is poised for considerable further expansion involving acquisitions and planned organic growth.
A new Director level position has arisen which will be critical to securing the future growth of the firm.THE OPPORTUNITY
Joining as a Director in the firm's main office in London, your role will involve leading and managing a large team responsible for delivering Outsourced Financial Management solutions and Year-End Accounting and Tax services to clients ranging from smallbusinesses through to large corporate groups with multi-site operations.
You will also manage key client relationships and focus on growing the practice, developing new service-lines within Business Advisory / Strategy and M&A / Corporate Finance in order to expand the firm into a full-solution practice able to handle clientneeds from beginning to end of their business lifecycle.

Director duties & responsibilities will involve:
- Leading and managing an Accounting Services team of c.50 people (Accounts Managers, Client Accountants, Trainees etc)
- Overseeing the delivery of Bookkeeping, Management Accounts and Year-End Accounting and Tax services to a large portfolio of SME and Corporate clients
- Managing key client relationships and ensuring opportunities for new fee work are secured
- Developing the firms' service offering to encompass Business Advisory and M&A / Corporate Finance solutions longer term
- Supporting the execution of an ambitious growth plan

THE PERSON
You will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following:
- ACA / ACCA Qualified
- Background within Accountancy Practice (minimum c. 7 years experience)
- Significant experience of working with and advising SME and Owner-Managed businesses
- Strong client communication and Business Development skills
- Leadership and Management qualities
