    Join our team as the Indirect Procurement Manager, Europe, and play a pivotal role in managing indirect procurement activities across our UK and EU sites. In this critical position, you will not only support the European Head of Procurement by driving indirect procurement savings but also take the lead in implementing cost-saving strategies across the EU supply chain. This role is a remarkable opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in executing strategic procurement initiatives, leading negotiations, and building sustainable relationships that contribute to our long-term success.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead procurement-led savings initiatives, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to reduce costs across indirect procurement areas.
    • Proactively manage the procurement and sourcing process, engaging in marketplace competitions to ensure the best value and innovation for the organization.
    • Conduct negotiations with suppliers, developing and presenting contracting solutions that meet our strategic objectives and gain senior stakeholder approval.
    • Oversee a strategic outlook for the next five years, ensuring continuous service and value optimization through effective management of supplier and stakeholder relationships.
    • Remain informed about the latest marketplace trends and developments, advocating for and implementing procurement models that drive efficiency and advancement.
    • Formulate and execute a comprehensive 5-year plan aimed at consistently reducing costs, aligned with the company's objectives, and report progress regularly.
    • Conduct thorough supplier performance reviews to ensure adherence to contract SLAs, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrated skill and experience in contract negotiation, with a proven track record of securing favourable terms and achieving substantial cost savings and service improvements.
    • Strong capability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders, working effectively within multi-functional teams to achieve procurement goals.
    • A strategic and forward-thinking approach to procurement, with a commitment to staying ahead of industry trends and leveraging innovative procurement practices.
    • Fluency in English and outstanding communication abilities, coupled with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Preferably CIPS qualified or holding a similar professional qualification, underpinning your procurement expertise.
    • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with a background in managing a broad spectrum of indirect procurement categories including Marketing, MRO, IT/Telecom, HR, Professional Services, Logistics, and collaboration with commercial teams and plant managers.
