    Our Night Autism Practitioners play a key role in supporting autistic young people with complex needs at Prior's Court to improve their sleep patterns and, together with the education and residential teams, in building their independence and life-skills.

  • No experience required - but more experience equals a higher salary
  • Gain a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare
  • 3 - 4 nights per week on a flexible or fixed shift basis.
  • Thursday - Sunday rota pattern preferred
  • We operate a "levels" system within this role:

    The role of a Nights Autism Practitioner

    Our nighttime Autism Practitioners play a key role in supporting the young people we support to improve their sleep patterns and, together with the education and residential teams, in building their independence and life skills.

    You will work through the night between 3 - 4 shifts a week to support the young people in undertaking their night-time routine, putting in place the structure and prompts to enable them to undertake tasks as independently as possible and to learn skills ranging from toileting, washing, dressing and personal care to communication and social skills.

    Our thorough will ensure you have the support, skills and tools you need to deliver quality care for each young person. We will even support you to complete your (England) (RQF) if you are not yet qualified - a statutory requirement for a career in childcare.
