We use a distinctive Practical Skills Therapeutic Education approach, grounded in the approach of Rudolf Steiner and developed over three decades


Legal Assistant
FTE £31,766.53 to £33,441.06 per annum


(Actual £19,059.60 to £20,064.60)
24 Hours per week (
3 days) / 52 weeks per year


Based from Corporate Offices, Ruskin Mill College, Nailsworth, Near Stroud


We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Assistant to assist and support the Head of Legal Services who provides a comprehensive and varied service to Ruskin Mill Trust and Ruskin Mill Land Trust.

The role will involve dealing with a wide range of legal matters, regulatory compliance and administrative tasks.

There will be some flexibility with the days worked, however one of the days must be a Friday.


Main Duties will include:

  • To Support the Head of Legal Services as appropriate to keep abreast of all legislative and regulatory developments relating to the Trust and assist with the communications and updates to Colleagues as required.
  • To assistthe Head of Legal Services withdrafting/amending a range of commercial and contractual documentation.
  • To assist the Head of Legal Services with management of the lease portfolio (liaising with other colleagues such as the Estate Manager and residential teams).
  • To maintain and assist with the development of a legal precedent library.
  • To assist the Head of Legal Services as required with their company secretarial responsibilities.
  • To assist the Head of Legal Services as required with administrative tasks related to the Trust's insurance policy and data protection procedures.
  • Where required, attend relevant legal trainings in the development of the role.

may be required.
