    YOU

    As our Commercial Strategy and Planning Manager you will work with our Grocery and E-Commerce customers to develop and deliver the commercial plans throughout the year on our brands.

    • You are commercially savvy with experience in account management (ideally with a Grocery customer) and how central strategy and category functions operate.
    • You're a strategic thinker able to build financially robust proposals that exploit opportunities within the sector.
    • You can work cross functionally to bring people on the journey with you: working with marketing, shopper marketing, category management, supply chain and finance to create a compelling business strategy and ensures its execution.
    • You are a skilled communicator, able to influence and navigate various stakeholder from NAM to board level with confidence.
    • You have worked in an FMCG industry for at least 3-5 years.
    • Additional experience with e-commerce is advantageous.
    • You have a strong can-do (Yatte Minahare in our jargon) attitude with a drive for delivering results and getting things over the line.

    YOUR ROLE

    • You will lead the agenda with the relevant channel teams to land in year financial targets.
    • Use promotional, pricing, pack, and distribution plans to identify opportunities to grow the business.
    • Identify customer and channel opportunities and then engage the business in supporting the development of plans and initiatives to capitalise on these.
    • Support the customer and channel representation in the annual commercial planning process to develop the building blocks for the relevant channel strategy.
    • Develop a business case for brand and business initiatives in the relevant channel and work with the rest of the team to capture the opportunity for NPD.
    • Develop and deliver the annual Go to Market plans for key business initiatives – e.g., New Product Development, Hero SKUs, Pack/Format recommendations.
    • Be the key commercial contact for any in-year brand initiatives for the channel.
    • Set customer and channel targets with appropriate measurement and tracking of implementation.
