Main Responsibilities

  • Execute new product introductions according to global product launch calendars.
  • Ensure overall online product presentation, including photography, copy content and other pertinent information is cohesive with brand's overall merchandising strategy.
  • Lead planning and execution of the site content calendar to meet online merchandising business goals and strategies.
  • Work closely with the eCommerce Manager EMEA & wider eCommerce, Marketing & Product teams to execute plans to meet revenue objectives.
  • Maintain daytoday site operations in the EMEA region.
  • Collaborate with the European Merchandiser for nonEnglish language site content including product listing pages, product detail pages, landing pages, navigation, web banners & the checkout funnel.
  • Regularly monitor inventory levels to ensure site merchandising is updated based on product availability.
  • Partner with product teams to identify new opportunities such as bundling and other upgrade strategies.
  • Audit sites for improvement opportunities benefiting customers & the business.
  • Assist in the build & maintenance of on site promotions in multiple currencies.
  • Maintain regional promotional campaign material as well as upsell & recommendations.
  • Assesses the competitive landscape by examining merchandising strategies of key competitors and bestinclass online retailers to understand emerging online trends and recommend changes to the online category strategy based on customer and competitor insights; brand strategies; analysis of KPIs (e.g., sales, conversion, instock levels, and assortment alignment) and category or productspecific promotions.
  • Collaborate with CRM & digital marketing to execute best in class marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with eCommerce pricing processes.
  • Regularly conduct web analytics reviews, deriving insights & actions to optimize the conversion funnel.
  • Incorporate best in class SEO practices into day to day merchandising.
  • Assist the Customer Service department with issues or queries relating to Speciality eCommerce operations.

Person Specification

  • Aware of musical instrument trends with knowledge of European markets.
  • Continually seeks to improve the online experience by researching and staying abreast of innovative online solutions and capabilities; key competitor actions; industry trends and emerging customer and market needs.
  • Conscientious & committed to providing best results.

Essential Criteria

  • 4+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing or similar function.
  • Experience with eCommerce and CMS platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify Plus, Magento, BigCommerce, WooCommerce etc.
  • Knowledgeable of analytics tools for performance measurement such as GA, Amplitude & Content Square.
  • Ability to work with a globally distributed team across multiple regions.
  • Knowledge of SEO and keyword optimization.
  • Experience with A/B testing and datadriven decision making.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to work on own initiative & be selfmotivated.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both written & verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality & handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to prioritise work & adapt to changing priorities.
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of the organisation.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to problem solve and contingency plan.

Desirable Criteria

  • Knowledge of the musical instrument market & tech brand products.
  • Multilingual with European languages are desirable.
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or Shopify Plus.
