    THE OPPORTUNITY

    Sii UK are hiring for a role of a System Engineer, based in Bristol or in a commutable area as the role requires coming to the office for 4-5 days per week.

    SKILLS REQUIRED:

    To excel in this role, you should possess experience in the following:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or any related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering.4
    • Minimum 5 years of experience with IBM Rational DOORS.
    • Strong understanding of systems engineering principle.
    • Strong understanding of defence industry standards.
    • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Eligible to do security vetting.

    TASKS:

    The primary activities encompass, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Analyse, and manage system requirements using IBM Rational DOORS for Missile Systems/Electronic Warfare.
    • Ensure traceability, clarity, and consistency of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
    • Customise and configure DOORS to meet project-specific needs.
    • Provide training and support to project team members on DOORS usage.
