West London College is Looking for a SEN Tutor:

Pay rate:
up to £24.33 per hour plus holiday pay

Location:
Hammersmith

Key Responsibilities

To take an active role in the teaching of Supported Employment students and to ensure effective delivery and development of the Supported Employment programme.
To improve lives through, education, training, skills and development and fostering social and economic success in line with the College's overall mission.
Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of learners.
Make accurate and productive use of assessment to assess students' progress and support needs.
Give students regular feedback, both orally and through accurate marking, and encourage students to respond to the feedback, reflect on progress, and their emerging needs and take a responsible and conscientious attitude to their own work and study.
Use relevant data to monitor progress, set targets and plan subsequent lessons. Set homework and plan other outofclass activities to consolidate and extend the knowledge and understanding students have acquired as appropriate.
Fully utilise technologies such as Google Classroom for student learning and college information systems to record and track student progress and achievement.
To promote and safeguard the wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults that you are responsible for or comes into contact with.
To take an active part in the recruitment, interviewing, selection and mentoring of students including marketing, selection, communications and coordination with partners and the college
