Express Recruitment is delighted to be working alongside a UK wide recognised firm who are industry leaders in their field.

Due to continued growth and plans for further expansion into new fields of expertise, our client is seeking a Demand Planner to join their team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Support the Sales, Product and Operations Management teams through the forecast analysis, ensuring monthly business planning cycles comply with company standards and meet departmental targets
Liaise with relevant departments to resolve forecast plan discrepancies to ensure ordering patterns are thoroughly checked and validated
Run all relevant reports monitoring exception message trends
Participate as required in the management of parts scope to ensure the live part list is current and maintained
Participate in root cause analysis activities, budget variation analysis and contribute to the development of demand planning processes
Participate in improvement activities at department/company level to enhance business wide performance
Comply with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures, including those relating to Health and Safety and Data Protection/GDPR

Qualifications & Experience:

Demonstrable experience in the daily use of planning systems
Experience of working in customer facing environments would be desirable
Understanding of demand planning theory
Proficient analytic skills, comfortable working with varying data sets
First class planning and prioritisation skills
Comfortable working in a fastpaced manufacturing & supply chain environment
Comfortable dealing with customers and building relationships

Mon-Fri 8am-4pm, 40hrs per week

Salary:
c£32,000 - £42,500 per annum D.O.E
