    Description

    A global and listed business are seeking a Deputy Company Secretary to manage a team and report to the GC/Company Secretary on an initial 3-6 month FTC.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with GC/Co Sec on strategy and global initiatives.
    • Company secretarial and governance strategy and team leadership
    • Executive reporting on entity governance.
    • Maintain entity Governance programme of trainings, comms, guide notes etc
    • Entity governance framework, handbook and practices.
    • Ensure consistent adherence to governance and reporting as well as consolidate regional reporting into quality single source of information for global leadership.
    • Drive improvement, develop and implement the function's strategy.
    • Promote culture of compliance and good governance.
    • Take the lead in corporate projects from a company secretarial perspective.
    • Oversee management of AGM and annual reports for Corp Governance.
    • Maintain relationship with law firms managing corporate projects.

    Qualifications

    • Law or governance degree.
    • CGI qualified.
    • Must have experience working with international subsidiaries and managing a team.
    • 4+ years of experience in a company secretarial team (in-house or professional services). This is a guide only and more qualified candidates will be considered.
    • System skills (G Suite, MS Office and preferably legal entity database, board meeting portal).
