My client is looking for a Head of Strategy - Blockchain & Ethereum.

The Head of Strategy - Blockchain & Ethereum will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives within the organization's blockchain division. This individual will leverage their deep expertise in layer 1 blockchain technology, particularly Ethereum, to shape and execute strategies that drive growth, innovation, and market leadership. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, anticipate market trends, and develop robust strategies that align with the company's long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive the adoption, development, and integration of layer 1 blockchain solutions, with a primary focus on Ethereum.
2. Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of the blockchain landscape, including competitor assessments, market trends, and regulatory developments, to inform strategic decision-making.
3. Product Development: Collaborate with product teams to identify opportunities for blockchain integration, prioritize feature development, and ensure alignment with market needs and company goals.
4. Partnership & Ecosystem Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key players in the blockchain ecosystem, including protocol developers, decentralized application (dApp) developers, and industry consortia.
5. Thought Leadership: Represent the organization as a thought leader in the blockchain space, participating in industry events, contributing to publications, and engaging with the community to promote the company's vision and expertise.
6. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to a multidisciplinary team of strategists, analysts, and blockchain experts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Qualifications:

1. Deep expertise in layer 1 blockchain technology, with a strong focus on Ethereum. Experience with other blockchain platforms is a plus.
2. Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategies in the blockchain space, preferably within a technology company or financial institution.
3. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex information into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious goals.
6. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in blockchain or strategy are desirable.
