For positions starting in August, we welcome applications from current probationers pending attainment of full registration with the GTCS.
East Lothian Council is looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of House Head: Positive Destinations at Rosehill High School. Rosehill opened its doors in August to a little over students in S1-S3. Starting in August, we will kick off our senior phase and welcome approximately new S1 students. Each House Head is currently tasked with meeting the pastoral, vocational, and curricular needs of half of the school, but this will be reviewed continuously as the school grows.
The new secondary learning facility is built to support innovative teaching methods, with a variety of adaptable teaching spaces. In addition to modern, digitally equipped classrooms, the campus features a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) plaza, a Learning Resource Centre, extensive arts facilities, and a state-of-the-art sports and leisure complex. Learning and teaching at the campus extend beyond traditional classrooms and include outdoor learning, sustainability education, and interdisciplinary learning. Moreover, the campus incorporates several community and health spaces to encourage collaboration across different professions and sectors.
