    Job Description:

    We have an exciting position for a Business Analyst to join the NLP Team in Shell. Our team works on several projects across Shell's LoBs focusing on developing end-to-end Natural Language Processing and Generative AI solutions. As a Business Analyst, you will work across projects focusing on supporting the NLP Team.

    As a Business Analyst, you will carry out generalist tasks relating to the management of projects and team portfolio, including:
    • Stakeholder management and coordination
    • Clear and concise communications with stakeholders and team members. Communicate the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the development team
    • Connecting and collaborating with project teams, subject matter experts and stakeholders
    • Plan and coordinate project delivery and change management across the team portfolio.
    • Support the transformational change manager to develop and implement change management strategies and plans to maximise team adoption and usage.
    • Create clear documentation to communicate requirements and report related information of processes and solutions to keep stakeholders and team members aligned with the solution over the project lifecycle.
    • Support the valuation process of projects in the team portfolio and lead the conversations around value levers with stakeholders
    • Lead the internal communications and awareness of team activities
    • Work closely with project teams, technical experts, and other business analysts to ensure that the user stories, functional and non-functional requirements are clearly defined, prioritised and effectively integrated into project plans and deliverables.
    • Translate business requirements into functionality and assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impacts of various solution options.
    • Proficient in CSDI Best Practises such as the use of SharePoint and Salesforce
    • Ability to link the technical solutions with business strategy when working with the business stakeholders
    • Be familiar with the project lifecycle and software delivery models
    • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather and validate non-functional requirements, ensuring that they are clearly defined, prioritised, and agreed upon.
    • Monitor and report on the portfolio health, progress and issues to necessary stakeholders
    • Comfortable managing multiple tasks
    • Have a problem-solving aptitude
    • Knowledge of the project roadmaps
    Basic Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
    • Must have hands-on experience with managing projects and stakeholders in the Generative AI space, focused on Natural Language Processing
    • Experience working with and influencing a team of Data Scientists in the Gen AI space
    • You should have excellent communication skills and be able to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
    • Project management and stakeholder engagement skills required.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and a good facilitator of meetings
    • You should be able to identify problems and develop creative solutions to address them. This includes the ability to think critically, analyze data, and make informed decisions.
    • Understanding of Agile/ Waterfall/ Hybrid Models of project experience is an asset.
