- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, KPIs and objectives to develop effective recruitment strategies
- Forming positive long-term relationships with both candidates and clients
- Sourcing candidates through various channels, including online job boards, professional networks, and industry events
- Conduct thorough screenings and interviews to assess candidates' technical skills, qualifications, and cultural fit
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in recruitment to continually improve processes, outcomes and continually attract new clients
- Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey
- Support trainee/graduate consultants with training
- Use multimedia networks to outsource potential candidates and clients
- Conduct high-quality recruitment administration, to ensure all information and activities are recorded and stored in accordance with GDPR legislations
- Proven experience as a recruitment consultant, preferably within the automotive industry or a related technical field is essential
- Previous experience in both blue and white-collar recruitment would be highly beneficial
- Previous management or leadership experience would be favourable
- Experience in recruitment-based software, such as job boards, is essential
- Strong technical understanding of automotive systems, components, and manufacturing processes, and the candidate skillsets required
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with candidates and clients
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing priorities, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
- Have a positive attitude and a hands-on approach
