- Manage a pipeline of 2nd Charge / Second Charge Mortgage loan cases and prioritize accordingly. Underwrite 2nd Charge / Second Charge loan applications within company lending criteria by making quality lending decisions.
- Be attentive when handling cases and refer to the appropriate person when needed.
- Maintain strong communication with involved parties such as brokers, applicants, surveyors, and solicitors.
- Provide excellent customer service internally and externally.
- Collaborate with various company departments including sales, compliance, finance, and collections.
- Offer innovative solutions to potential problems while ensuring minimal risk to the company.
- Monitor loans post-completion and address any offer conditions before passing the loan to collections.
- Stay informed about current best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Represent the company at events when necessary.
- Prior experience in underwriting 2nd Charge / Second Charge products is preferred.
