Shifnal, Shropshire TF11 8BB**-
Full Time, Permanent:

  • £45,000
  • £48,000 per annum:

A little bit about theMarketing Operations Managerposition


Reporting to the Founder & CEO, the Marketing Operations Manager is central to ensuring client projects and campaigns are delivered on-time, on budget and deliver the expected results.

The role is a technical and analytical position, rather than a creative one.


Here are the main areas of the role:

  • Project Management_
  • Translate campaign plans and project brief into clear actionable delivery plans.
  • Distribute and clearly communicate project/campaign plans to the delivery teams
  • Ensure key milestones are reached on time and on budget.
  • Manage the budget for commercial operations.
  • Account Management_
  • Check campaign plans align with client expectations prekick off.
  • Ensure regular and effective client communication on campaign progress.
  • Manage scope creep and ensure any additional costs are approved prior to delivery.
  • Feedback client insights to the wider team for action.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and service levels to ensure standards are being met.
  • Flag client success or concerns to Leadership.
  • Lead client onboarding to create an exceptional first impression.
  • Process Optimisation_
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve performance.
  • Review and update existing processes.
  • Design and create new operating processes.
  • Ensure campaigns and projects follow standard processes and meet quality standards.
  • Hold internal and external campaign and project reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Feedback campaign and project information to sales and marketing to guide pricing and strategy.
  • Systems Management_
  • Manage and develop marketing technology systems and integrations to deliver successful campaigns and projects.
  • Optimise and audit existing systems to a create an endtoend solutions
  • Support system adoption, data collection and use compliance to ensure the accuracy of key business metrics.
  • Team Leadership_
  • Determine staffing needs based on workload requirements and recruit, hire, onboard and train staff and external support accordingly.
Lead the ongoing management of employee welfare, development and motivation.

  • Educate the marketing team on technology processes and best practices.
  • Mentor individuals from your delivery teams.
  • Produce weekly and monthly management reports and the occasional adhoc one too.
As part of the Leadership Team, you'll attend regular management meetings.


It's likely you have

  • A BA/BSc (or higher) in Business Management, Business Administration or similar.
  • Extensive (multiyear) experience in senior marketing roles, project management or account management.
  • Knowledge of modern CRM solutions and project management platforms, including HubSpot, ClickUp, EverHour, Slack and others.
  • Outstanding project management and organisation skills.
  • Impressive communication skills.
  • A resultsfocused mindset.
  • Confidence with numbers, financial reports and analysing data.
  • Proven track record of gaining and maintaining the trust of your clients, team, peers, partners and Leadership.
  • Inquisitiveness and problem solver skills.
  • A sense of perspective: You know what it's like to work in a scaling company and love the vibe (and sometimes chaos).
