Role Purpose:

The Partnership Executive is a critical member of the Partnership Team.

They are key to the successful management of NGI Partners - a community of over 130 local businesses and high-profile brands - who work with NGI to promote our city and region on a national and international stage.

Key Responsibilities/Daily Activities:


  • Event management including venue liaison, invitations, event plans, attendee list management, speaker briefings, venue set up, attendee registration/ badges and event coordination.
  • Relationship management including arranging regular partner catch ups, scheduling slots for partners to meet the NGI team, onboarding and offboarding partners and maintaining partner databases and CRM
  • Partnership communications including weekly roundups and posting events, news and announcements on NGI's website and associated social media channel
  • Support with preparation of meeting and event materials including PowerPoint presentations, reports and updates
  • Utilising internal communication channels to update colleagues on NGI partnerships and events
  • Administrative support including budget sheet updates, raising POs, maintaining accurate partner records
  • Support for wider NGI projects deliverables as requested by Deputy Director of Partnership & Programmes
  • Other support as required to enable the successful delivery of NGI's Partnership programme

Essential Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.

Strong written communication skills including social media

Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.

High standard of organisational and time-management skills.

Quick learner, able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Outgoing, confident and personable

Educated to degree level or equivalent vocational qualification or work experience


Desirable Skills
Experience using WordPress, Canva and Google Forms

Experience using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
