    Contek Recruitment are currently working with a precision engineering client, located in Kidderminster, West Midlands. Due to company growth, they are now looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team. Company Overview: Our client are a precision machining company dedicated to producing top-notch parts and components to various industries, such as Automotive, Dies/Moulds, Castings, and Fluid Handling. They are a family-run company and have a small team of experienced Machinists, led by their two long-serving Directors. Position Overview: Due to company growth and progression, they are expanding and are now looking to bring an experienced Quality Engineer into their team, to ensure that all machined products maintain high standards.Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (06:00 until 16: hours per week)Responsibilities:

    • Overseeing company inspection processes.
    • Upholding and improving company ISO:9001 accreditations.
    • Programming of CMM (QCT software).
    • Overseeing product quality.
    • Develop and uphold quality standards.
    • Inspect components using precision tools.
    • Analyze data to improve quality.
    • Collaborate with teams to fix issues.
    • Lead investigations and implement solutions.
    • Work with suppliers to improve quality.

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience within a Quality Engineer position is preferred.
    • A strong understanding of precision machining.
    • A strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
    • Previous experience programming a CMM is required.
    • A hands-on mentality is desired.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and detail orientation.
    • A proactive mentality, with a focus on improvement and efficiency.
