Your Role:
As a Product Safety Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of products.

Reporting to the Head of Product Safety, you will provide expertise in product safety management and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety processes.

Key TasksSupport engineering projects and take ownership of all product safety activitiesWork closely with customers to capture requirements and review product solutionRespond to non-conformance and customer complaints Support Engineering Change Requests and manage their impact on product safetyDevelop and deliver safety documentation and facilitate risk assessments and HAZID workshops Contribute to safety meetings, audits and new business proposalsEnsure compliance with legislative requirements and company proceduresRequirementsDegree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering disciplineKnowledge and experience of technical product safety, design and certification Experience gained in defence, aerospace, automotive, rail or similar regulated sector Knowledge and experience of hazard identification, hazard logs, risk evaluation, and safety analysis processesExperience of FMEA's and contract design reviews Strong technical writing skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
