This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Legal and General Capital Division as a Corporate Finance Associate (Housing).In Legal and General Capital, the Housing portfolio is diverse, from traditional house building to modular housing. The portfolio covers affordable housing, and across tenures from Build to Sell to Build to Rent. These asset classes support L&G's aim to invest in UK economic growth, manufacture and deliver assets to the rest of the L&G Group and support the Group's international growth ambitions. You could play a key role within the team as you you work with a large portfolio that includes international real estate deals.

If you are a commercial finance specialist, with deals advisory, valuations, and financial due diligence experience then this is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most exciting, impactful, and social relevant divisions across the Group.

What you'll be doing

Financial business partnering, including performance monitoring, and reporting, and forecasting and support for any financial themes emerging
Contributing to overall M&A process for new acquisitions and disposals within the portfolio
Supporting the financial due diligence process for new investments, including shaping the assignment scope, managing work streams and outputs of due diligence providers, and

- interpreting and communicating findings to senior LGC stakeholders

Producing forecasts and scenario planning to assist central planning, commercial insight, and options analysis, with focus on profit generation, liquidity strategy, market opportunity and sector concentrations
Liaising with key stakeholders in LGC's divisional planning process to establish sectorlevel strategic priorities. This will include interactions with LGC's senior management team, sector leads, investment leads and operating entity leadership
Supporting the investment team and operating entities with key financial events (including refinancing events, asset disposals, etc.)

What we're looking for

Relevant accounting/ financial qualification required, preferably ACA/ACCA
You'll be a commercial finance specialist, with deals advisory, valuations, and financial due diligence experience.
Demonstrable commercial acumen and interest in alternative asset investment
A solid financial analysis grounding to assist senior finance and investment staff in assessing and reporting the division's performance and mediumterm value creation plans with reference to its liquidity requirements and PBT generation
PQE with experience in real estate and infrastructure sectors (preferable but not essential)
Experience of working to tight reporting deadlines, ideally in large corporate teams
