The Role of a Communications and Engagement Lead
As a Communications and Engagement Lead, you will support various Programme and project departments and workstreams. The post holder will be the Communications and Engagement lead to support the overall communications strategy of the Programme.

This includescreating material and collateral for colleagues, developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation, and leading or aiding with communication strategy in all elements and workstreams.


  • Developing a clear communication and engagement strategy and plan at the programme level
  • Making sure that project and programme level comms and engagements align
  • Responding to requests for press/media responses using a set of agreed lines to take
  • Signing off the correspondence requests
  • Developing internal communications approaches and delivering regular comms from the Director
  • Arranging away days/conferences as and when required
  • Arranging and delivering local engagements where accommodation centres are to be established.
