    Description
We are recruiting for a Responsible Business Lead here at City & Guilds.

This is a key role within the Corporate Affairs & Foundation directorate, where you will be required to drive our agenda as a responsible business dedicated to delivering social impact.

You will deliver on a responsible business strategy for City & Guilds, in collaboration with senior leaders, and together with key external networks and partners that share our commitment to the transformative impact of skills on individuals and society.

You will be working on a hybrid basis with a mix of home and office. You will be happy to travel to our London office as needed.

We believe that diversity and inclusion strengthen and enriches us, and that it is the responsibility of everyone at the City & Guilds Group to drive this value.

As ethnic minority groups and disabled people are currently under-represented within the Group, we particularly encourage and welcome applications from these communities.

You will play a key influencing role with senior leaders and sponsors to ensure responsible business and our social impact is at the heart of everything we do.

As Responsible Business Lead, you will direct, oversee and develop flagship reports with high visibility that capture our impacts as a socially and environmentally responsible business, identifying and creating frameworks that position City & Guilds as a leader in this space.

You will need to design proposals and propositions that engage different audiences, building meaningful relationships with prospective funders - gaining knowledge of their priorities and how they connect to those of City & Guilds - ultimately securing support and investment to achieve mutual objectives.

You will help to establish City & Guilds as a force in charitable and not for profit networks, actively seeking new, unexplored partnership potential.

You should have exceptional partnership building skills with a proven track record of securing funding and investment.

You will have a specialist level understanding of theory and application behind Responsible Business and social impact, able to advise board members and the most senior members of staff in the organisation on best practice.

You will have experience of implementing ambitious projects with the ability to inspire others to work towards a common goal.

As Responsible Business Lead, you will have excellent stakeholder manager skills, able to develop trusted relationships across a range of stakeholders.

We would expect you to make further recommendations on reporting frameworks, based on what will most effectively demonstrate City & Guilds responsible business and social impact ambitions and achievements
