We're looking to recruit a
Communications Coordinator to join our Communications team based from our Milton Keynes office.

  • In this role you will develop strategies, plans and relationships to ensure that employees, key stakeholders and the general public understand and embrace the key messages of HS2 and EKFB.
  • We expect you to develop and deliver EKFB's digital media plan, creating inspiring written and visual communications for a variety of audiences and channels, ensuring consistent messaging throughout. You will take responsibility for ensuring that the communications plan includes strategic objectives and that these objectives are implemented successfully within EKFB and throughout the supply chain. You will assist the internal and external communications managers in delivering communications across the EKFB team and supply chain, managing issues with speed and good judgement. You will track the effectiveness of your plans, using what you've learned to make the communications process more efficient for future projects.


You'll be partnering closely with different teams across EKFB and HS2, you'll foster positive relationships and collect feedback in order to assist with the management of communications with the communities we are working in.

You will collaborate closely with the communications teams of all parent companies and of HS2 to ensure that all messages are consistent and in line with client expectations.


About You:

***- Experience in a Communications Coordination role

  • You will be highly organised, approachable and personable
  • Ability to deliver accurate written and verbal communications
  • Ability to interact with other people in a positive and cooperative manner
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently, depending on the task at hand
