La Fosse is excited to be assisting our client in the search for a highly motivated and detail-oriented MI (Management Information) Analyst for a fixed-term contract of 12 months.
As an MI Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing and interpreting data to provide valuable insights that support informed decision-making across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis:
Collect, analyse, and interpret data from various sources to provide meaningful insights into business performance, trends, and opportunities
Reporting:
Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports for management, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and timeliness
Dashboard Creation:
Design and maintain interactive dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and present data in a user-friendly manner
Data Quality Assurance:
Implement and maintain processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide support
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, tools, and methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
Proven experience as an MI Analyst or similar role within the insurance or financial industry.
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.Knowledge of insurance industry metrics and KPIs is a plus.
