Full Job Description

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Responsible for teaching groups of children on a weekly basis football and multi sports.
  • You will be in charge of their training programmes and developing young footballers
  • You will coach 11 training session for young footballers looking at strength's and weaknesses of each player and how they can improve their game
  • You will be shadowing highly experienced football coaches learning from them taking notes on how they deliver sessions and the content they deliver.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The program will consist of online training, webinars, practical workshops and workplace visits from the tutor.

On completion you will achieve a level 4 sports coach qualification.


What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full time position on completion and further progression with the sports company


Working week
The shifts will be between 8am - 6.30pm Monday to Fridays (varied hours)

Saturdays 8:30am - 1:30pm

Total hours per week: 30
