Description
The RTR Functional Process consultant will play a key role in the transformation of the End-to-end RTR processes as part of the programme, reporting directly into one of the 4 Initiative directs.
You will be expected to have deep best practice knowledge of RTR process and SAP configuration (referable S4Hapnna) and the ability to develop innovative optimised SAP based solutions, working in close partnership with various teams within our client toaddress process and system inefficiencies
To be successful in this role you will need to be systematic, able to translate business problems into scalable and tangible process and system improvements and be capable of working effectively with all levels of the business across multiple business organisations.

You will have brief to develop full end-to-end solutions in the record to report space, included exploration of upstream pain points and proposed recommendations for processes, configuration, and automation efficiencies.
Position tasks (including but not limited to):
- Ability to advise and articulate best practice SAP and Blackline Configurations to drive optimisation and efficiency with the RTR process
- Perform deepdives and root cause exploration to comprehend pain points and process and configuration inefficiencies.
- Definition of system and configuration options to address pain points and inefficiencies
- Being the link between the project team, business, and IT to promote identification of functional requisite. and working with IT to ensure Functional specs are complete
- Assists in the deployment of function specifications for targeted system improvements and participating in SIT and UAT
- Deep knowledge of SAP 4 Hanna. Knowledge of Blackline preferred.
- Knowhow of multiple S4 Hanna Implementations preferred
- Detailed knowledge of RTR finance processes, best practices, and terminology
- Strong stakeholder management and problemsolving skills
- Effective alliance and partnership capabilities
- Excellent written/oral communication skills and followup
- Demonstrated proficiency in following areas is a plus:
- Finance and Accounting processes
- Utility industry accounting
- UK GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and SEC regulations
- Risk mitigation
