Design & Marketing Manager

Package:
Salary up £50K - £65K dependent on experience, Bonus potential, Healthcare and Fun, friendly working environment.
My client is an established manufacturer of Pet Products and Pet Accessories for dogs, cats and small animals.


A family owned business established in the 1970's who have created a strong reputation for quality product and unparalleled service.


The Role
The Product Managers role is to analyse the range and the competition to find gaps in the current offering. Ensuring the products are commercially viable and an appropriate fit for the brand.

Innovation is a key area for ensuring that we lead the way withnew products and keeping a unique and comprehensive collection.


Duties will include:

  • Product concept generation & Innovation
  • Catalogue design
  • Product sourcing, market research & range analysis
  • Produce marketing materials and POS


  • Pricing

  • Work out initial costings to ensure the products are commercially viable these are allow target prices to be set
  • Trade show attendance
  • Managing the Marketing and design Team


  • Office based

  • Walsall
  • 3d CAD work to help assist with the design process, using solidworks
  • Technical drawings with completed specifications
  • Packaging design
  • Find an appropriate place for the product to be positioned
  • Identify USP's and ensure these are clearly articulated

What we need from you?

  • Experience working with CAD
  • Marketing experience will be beneficial, however not essential
  • Commercially minded
  • Good Analytical skills
