Description
As the Facilities Coordinator, you will be working directly along side the Facilities Manager to provide the delivery of services and processes supporting the core business and to provide the most suitable working environment for employees.

Our client is based in the public sector and is based in the heart of Birmingham.
Description
- To ensure all buildings and estate are serviced and maintained in line with current legislation and operate to high standards of health and safety at all times
- Supervision of the Facilities team.
- Ensure planned and preventative maintenance is undertaken in a timely manner and completed to statutory compliance standards.
- Monitoring of the facilities helpdesk to ensure that all repairs are prioritised and actioned within an agreed timescale and to maintain good levels of communication with all parties on the progress of outstanding and completed actions
- Ensure site permits are in place prior to any work being undertaken
- Supervise and coordinate the work of the contractors
Profile
- Experience with PPM's and scheduling
- Good communication and able to work within a team
- Have an understanding of hard and soft services
Desirable but not essential:
- Working towards a NEBOSH or have obtained one
- Working towards a IOSH or have obtained one
- Worked within the public sector environment
