You will implement the Home's philosophy and ethos, forming a positive relationship with residents and creating a homely environment.

Team Leader Duties:

The Team Leader will be responsible for a range of care and support services to the Homes and their Residents.

In addition you will act under supervision of the qualified professional Staff Nurse, plan, implement, and undertake appropriate clinical skills.

As well as supervise the provision of quality of care to the Residents and assist in development of care staff.

As Team Leader you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring that the Home functions efficiently and effectively maintaining a high standard of care.

You will lead the care team during the shift ensuring that a safe and effective care service is maintained.

You will also be expected to support those care staff who are mentoring new staff members in all aspects of their work.

You will act as a role model by providing leadership and support for all care staff and by promoting residents' safety, dignity and best interests.

You will be responsible for clear and accurate care records.

Liaising with activity staff in organising social and rehabilitative activities, attending and contributing to staff meetings and supporting the Staff Nurses in their duties.

Working hours:

Morning shift 06:4- 14:00

Afternoon shift 13:4- 21:00

Long day shift 06:4- 19:00 / 07:4- 20:00

Long day shift 07:00 - 21:00
