Are you an experienced Fleet or Transport Co-ordinator, looking for a new and challenging opportunity? An independent Hire Company based in the Falkirk area is looking for a Transport Co-ordinator to assist the Transport Manager in ensuring full compliance for a fleet of 35+ commercial vehicles and drivers, the reporting and management of accidents and the management of vehicles

You will plan driver and vehicle resources to achieve delivery/collection times, whilst optimising resources and adhering to WTD and drivers' hours legislation.

You will be working in a fast-paced and demanding environment, so you must have the ability to multi-task and think on your feet as well as being a great communicator with the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

To ensure that all vehicles/drivers are legally compliant at all times this will include servicing & maintenance, driver's hours, tacho downloads and all training drivers CPC, MHE and manual handling.
Maintaining records in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
Ensuring that all relevant documentation and systems are completed accurately and in line with company and/or legislative requirements
Assisting in conducting Fleet Audits to FORS accreditation standards

Experience/Qualifications:

Experience in legislative compliance
Experience in Transport Operations
Strong IT Skills with particular experience in Microsoft word, Excel, and Outlook and ideally have an understanding of transport inhouse systems, like Big Change and Syrinx.
Ideally, you will have an understanding of Tachograph legislation and EU Drivers House and WTD Legislation

In return you will be offered a salary of up to 30K and a range of benefits

Salary:
£28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
