    Location: Bournemouth, Dorset

    Introduction

    Protected Trust Services (PTS) is a comprehensive solution provider that offers business trust accounts, bespoke software solutions, merchant facilities, and expert advice for Travel Providers.

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior .Net Developer at Protected Trust Services in our Bournemouth Offices. You will be responsible for introducing exciting new travel features while working as part of a functional Agile team.

    Main Responsibilities

    · The Senior .Net Developer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including Functional programming, development of modules, .NET Core programming, and ASP.NET.

    · .Net Framework /.Net Core on product builds, ideally utilising Service-Based Architecture.

    · Strong understanding of the software design patterns, CI/CD, and DevOps in an Agile context and will have hands on experience of SQL Server and APIs.

    · Hosted on the cloud with AWS, therefore having this experience would be required.

    · You will participate in unit and integration testing, peer code reviews, and code optimization and reworking.

    · Writing testable, scalable and efficient code by following best industry practices

    · Designing, building and configuring applications to meet business process and requirements.

    · Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and high availability of the system.

    · Bug identification and devise solutions to address and future proof processes.

    · Ensure that development is correctly scoped, risk profiled and technically documented.

    Requirements

    · 3 years hands-on .Net 6, .Net Core, REST API and web development experience

    · Solid experience with SQL and API Integrations.

    · 2 years' experience with AWS server management.

    · Good knowledge of software engineering disciplines, design patterns, development methodologies and code quality

    · Proven experience of CI/CD and Test-Driven Development

    · Experience with SaaS platform, payment gateways with significant scale of users, transaction throughput and product complexity.

    · Experience with an Agile methodology and different software methodologies.

    · A technical background with a good understanding of how to build maintainable applications optimised for large operations, APIs/interfaces and databases.

    Tool Experience

    · Web/Testing Technologies - .NET Core, Web API, jQuery, Ajax, Web Services, LINQ, Entity Framework, Asp.NET, ADO .NET, Azure Function, SonarQube, xUnit, Swagger

    · Database Technologies - MS SQL Server

    · Software - VSTS, GitLab, SVN, JIRA
