- Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
- Supporting senior members with reviewing project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.
- Creating, maintaining, and performing test automation using developmental best practices.
- Investigating customer problems referred to you by the technical support team, creating and maintaining bug reports as well as retesting fixed issues.
- Performing manual testing for both web and desktop applications.
- Providing inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
- Help to ensure that high quality is maintained across the design and execution of test cases by being uncompromising on quality.
- Be able to work both collaboratively to solve an array of challenging problems.
- Have knowledge of testing processes and standards.
- Understand the principles of BDD and be able to write basic scenarios using Gherkin syntax.
- A minimum of two years' experience in a software testing role or have achieved a degree with a classification of at least 2:1 in a software engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of test methodologies.
- An understanding of test automation tools and how they can be used.
