Finance Associate, Venture Fund

Location: Central London

The Opportunity

Finatal are working with a fantastic Venture fund who are growing rapidly. They focus on investments into the European tech space. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a lean but high-performing finance function and gain invaluable exposure and personal development opportunities from day one. The fund are envisioning this individual growing into a Fund Controller.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with in-house valuations experience.

The Role

• Building valuations models and quarterly reporting.
• Treasury management and overseeing hedging policy.
• Looking after credit and NAV facilities.
• Assisting with structuring deals in new jurisdictions.
• Meeting with investors, creating pitch decks and assisting with fundraising.
• Potential to assist with portfolio monitoring and streamlining portfolio management systems (if desirable).

The Requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualified.
• Experience working within a fund finance team, or extensive advisory experience within valuations.
• Strong valuations modelling experience.
• Strong interest in and awareness of broader financial landscape.
• Independent, driven, motivated individual looking to take full advantage of the learning and progression opportunities available.
